As a mycologist, I am fascinated by fungi for so many reasons. They represent one of the most diverse kingdoms of life, yet one of the most mysterious. They are simultaneously delicious and toxic, beautiful and putrid, mundane yet enticing. My goal is to educate the general public on mushrooms, raise awareness of fungal biology/ecology, explore novel mushroom based solutions, and advocate the consumption of cultivated mushrooms.
