Savannah is a filmmaker, painter, and writer based in Santa Barbara and Los Angeles, CA. A recent graduate of the Film/Video program at CalArts, her video works investigate nostalgia and the agency of children via playful manipulation of her family’s analog home movies. When painting, she blends water colors and intuition to create abstracts and surreal botanicals that reflect her experiences of synesthesia, magic, and connection to the earth. She derives learning and pleasure from just about every expressive medium.
